Lecture within the series "Primers for PreDocs - Strategien für eine erfolgreiche Promotion"
Science and academe rely on critical thinking for progress, through questioning of ideas and opinions, standards and methods. As doctoral students, you need to be able to handle what is currently established; yet at the same time you need to be critical of just that. Dealing with these conflicting expectations asks for more than intellectual capacities. How can you strengthen yourself and others in what it takes then?
Dr. iur. Natalie Struve has taught at both British and German universities. Now she supports scientists and academics from all fields in their endeavours, and fosters critical thinking in academia and in democracy.
