Registration

Please be aware that our courses are only open to doctoral students who have been formally admitted by one of the faculties of Heidelberg University (Annahme als Doktorand an der Fakultät ) However, we are able to make a special exception for international doctoral students who are visiting the University for a short time. Such doctoral students can participate when they are registered (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung) or with a visiting scholar card (available from the Welcome Centre).

Your registration is binding! You will receive a confirmation of registration within the next 1-3 days.

You can withdraw up to 14 days before the course begins. If you have already paid your course fee, it will be reimbursed to you. If you withdraw fewer than 14 days before course begin, we will withhold your fee unless you can provide a doctor’s certificate in the case of illness or unless we can fill your place with someone from the waiting list.

Please remember that we have waiting lists for many courses. If you register for a course and then do not take part without officially withdrawing, your place will remain empty even though there may be other doctoral students who were interested in or needed the course.
